Welcome to the Fredericksburg Academy and Trinity College School Intellectual Property Rights Wikispace!imageplaceholder.gif325_2587.jpg

We identified one problem with Intellectual Property Rights, or IPRs, was to be that people were unaware of the rules and regulations involved with them. We determined that the most feasible solution to this problem was for us to create a way for our peers to learn about IPRs and IPR laws. This website is the result of our efforts.

First off, for those that may not know, intellectual property is an idea whereof IPRs are the rights people have to them. Things such as copyrights, patents, and trademarks are ways in which people protect their rights to what they come up with. We have each individually focused on a different aspect of the topic. These facets include IPRs in different nations (the United States, France, and Canada), the issues with material, mainly media, posted on a variety of popular websites such as google and Ning, and topics on music and piracy.

We hope you enjoy viewing the site and that you are able to learn from it. Thanks and good luck.
